This course is built the Creativity Hood way — grown-ups get the same permission to play that the kids do. Wonky is welcome, "not yet" beats "can't," and nobody's here to make a perfect vase on week one. We build the skills and leave loads of room to experiment.

Who it's for?
Total beginners and anyone who hasn't touched clay since school. Ages 16+. No skill assumed — we start at wedging a lump of clay and build from there.

What to bring / wear?
Clothes that can get clay on them (it washes out but why risk the good stuff), short or tied-back nails help, and an apron if you've got one — we have spares. Bring a drink. Trim your nails if you can!

The firing catch
Clay can't be rushed. Pieces dry over the course, get bisque fired after week 4, then glaze fired after week 6. Finished work is ready to collect about a week after the final class.

The studio vibe
Relaxed, chatty, a bit of music, and possibly a cameo from Teddy or Smockles. Come as you are — this is a no-pressure creative wind-down, not a masterclass.
